President Fredrik Persson discussed the EU’s competitiveness and the challenges ahead in his interview with the Financial Times that was featured in their newsletter Europe Express on 9 April. “We need to reboot our system and refocus on competitiveness. We need regulation to be workable, or we won’t be successful,” Persson said. Director General Markus J Beyrer talked to Bloomberg about the trade aspects addressed in the paper: “We need to deal with economic security, but at the same time, we need an ambitious trade agenda.” He also presented our priorities at the ‘Talking Europe’ show on France 24.
